Given: D, E and F are the mid points of the sides BC, AC and AB of triangle ABC.AB = 4.3 cm; BC=5.6 cm and AC= 3.5 cmTo find : Perimeter of Triangle DEFPerimeter of DEF= DE+EF+DFUsing Mid point theorem that is the line joining the mid points of the two sides of triangle is parallel to the third side and equal to half of it.
DE= 12(AB)= 12×4.3 = 2.15 cmEF= 12(BC) = 12×5.6 = 2.8 cmFD= 12(AC) = 12×3.5 = 1.75 cmSo, the perimeter of DEF= 2.15 +2.8 +1.75 = 6.7 cm
