Question

In the definition of irregular polygons,

“Polygons in which all sides are not of equal length and all angles are not of equal measure are known as irregular polygons”.

But, in example of rhombus, all sides are equal, but angles aren,'t !
So, the definition must say-

“Polygons in which all sides ARE of equal length and all angles are not of equal measure are known as irregular polygons”.

Solution

The definition of irregular polygon is:

A polygon whose sides are not all the same length or whose interior angles do not all have the

same measure is called Irregular Polygon. If any one of these two conditions is satisfied, then we

will say that the polynomial is not regular.

In the Rhombus, as the angles are not equal, so it is not a Regular polygon.
