Is Helminthes and Parasitic Diseases same or different??

Helminths are basically worms. The helminths which are parasitic and cause a disease result in helminthic diseases. On the contrary any infectious agent may it be bacteria, virus or worm, capable of causing infection is called a parasite and the disease is called parasitic disease.
