Is soda water a homogeneous or heterogeneous mixture? Explain?

Carborated beverage or soda water is a mixture of liquid and gas like CO₂. It can be considered as a heterogenous mixture when gas bubbles are physically distinct.But in most of the cases gas bubbles are not physically distinct hence it is considered as homogenous mixture.
