Given: The radius is $r = 10 c m$

The distance of the chord is $d = 6 c m$

The length of chord is $2 \sqrt{r^{2} - d^{2}}$

$= 2 \sqrt{100 - 36}$

$= 2 \sqrt{64}$

$= 16 c m$
