Question

Is there any difference between streamlind and aerodynamic shapes?

Open in App
Solution

The shape of many objects moving through air or water is designed in such a way(with pointed ends) that friction can be reduced between the objects and water or air(fluid). The shape of the body is called streamlined body.

Aerodynamic shapes are the shapes of better design like airplanes, cars, boats etc so that they face minimum possible resistance when travelling through a particular fluid. There shapes are thus streamlined for more penetration through a medium.
