Sex linked diseases are of two types - X-linked diseases and Y-linked diseases. X-linked disorder like colour blindness can be expressed in both males and females. In case of Y-linked disease only males would suffer.

Y linked genetic disorders are rare and any defect in the genes of Y chromosome is mainly associated with infertility.
