Question

It is said that when an object is placed in front of a convex lens between its focus and pole, the image formed is large, virtual and erect. So when we use a magnifying glass, do we actually see the image formed of the object we look at through the magnifying glass? Similarly, when we see an object through a concave lens, do we see the virtual image formed of the object?
