Its is said that lunar eclipse is when the earth is between the sun and the moon and on that day you don't see the moon in the sky. In the phases of moon when the earth is between the sun and the moon we see a full moon but even on the full moon days the earth comes beween the sun and the moon at that time why does the earth's shadow not fall on the moon instead we see a full moon why is that so?

It happens mainly because the orbit of earth and the orbit of moon are not on the same plane. That is why earth do not come exactly on the line connecting Sun and Moon on each full moon. So we don't see lunar eclipse every full moon. It happen only on those rare occasions when Sun, earth and moon come on the same line lunar eclipse takes place.
