Land and soil impacts the natural vegetation:
a. The type of soil determines vegetation, fertile land are used for agriculture whereas dry and rough terrain have grasslands, woodlands.
b. The sandy desert soils support cactus and thorny bushes.
c. The mangrove forests ( found in coastal areas), swamps and sandy coastal forests are grown in coastal delta regions.
d. The hill slopes with depth in the soil have conical trees.
e. Relief features- Mountains, Plateaus and the plains, palteaus, deserts impacts vegetation.
f. We witness diversity from tropical evergreen forests to thorny bushes, from Equatorial rain vegetation to Alpine vegetation.g.
g. The nature of a landscape will affect the type of vegetation, therefore a fertile levelled land is usually used for agricultural purposes. In addition, rough and rolling terrains provide areas of woodlands and grassy surfaces that develop and protect a range of wildlife.
