Limitations of biomass and biogas?

Biomass is the material, which is derived from the living or recently dead organism. Biogas is produced by breakdown of the biomass in absence of the oxygen.
There are some limitation with the biogas
1)Efficiency is low.
2)There is no control on the production of the gas.
3)Loss of the organic matter.
4)Biogas mainly contain methane and CO₂, which can cause the green house effect. If released in environment.
