P.M is the head of the majority party in the parliament so it means that he's also involved in the process of law making with the other parliament members, so why should he be answerable to the legislature, and for what reasons ?

The Prime Minister needs to be responsible to the legislature because that is how the Constitution prescribes the system of government to be. The prime minister is a member of the legislature. The legislature is supposed to question the prime minister to ensure that the executive acts in accordance with the wishes of the people.
