Magnetic dipole is an arrangement of two magnetic poles of equal magnitude but opposite strengths separated by a finite distance is called a magnetic dipole.

Now, a current carrying circular loop behaves like a magnetic dipole with one face as south and the other being north.

Magnetic dipole of the current loop is given by, M= nIA

where I is the current,

A is the area of the loop

and n is the number of turns.
