Consequences of over extraction and over uses are:
1. Import of coal and petroleum will increase and petroleum products will become costly and may go beyond the reach of ordinary people.
2. Prices of all commodities will increase and will cause inflation.
3.Excessive mining of fossil fuels will create large hollow spaces inside the earth and this may result in the collapse of land.
4.Burning of fossil fuels releases considerable amount of pollutants in the atmosphere.
5.There will be severe drain on the foreign exchange reserves.
Conservation of fossil fuels as;
1. By minimizing use of fuels like, using bicycle for short distance, avoiding personal vehicles, using fuels with maximum work in minimum usage as CNG, LPG etc.
2. By following triple R ; recycle, reuse and reduce concept.
3.By following renewable energy sources like solar, wind, hydro or geothermal energies etc.
4.By developing fuel efficient and low requirement vehicles and machines which are capable of high production in low requirement of fuels.
5.By using public transportation which could save fuels.
