Solution
1) Untouchability in any form is banned in India and all public places are open to all. Nobody can be denied entry on the basis of caste alone. 2) In 1993, the government passed the Employment of Manual Scavengers and Construction of Dry Latrines (Prohibition) Act. This law prohibits the employment of manual scavengers as well as the construction of dry latrines.
