Mention the excretory wastes of animals. How are they removed?
The excretory wastes produced by animals are mainly the nitrogenous wastes. Theses are secreted in the form of ammonia ( mainly produced by aquatic animals) , (urea produced by land animals) and (uric acid produced by birds, insects and reptiles). There are different mechanisms and excretory organs for the removal of these wastes depending on the type of animal such as insects have malphigian tubules, vertebrates have kidneys, earth worms have metanephridia for removing these excretory wastes.
