2) After the Green Revolution the fertilizer industry expanded to several other parts of the country.
3) Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh contribute substantially in fertiliser production.
4) Other major producers are Goa, Orissa, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Assam, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Karnataka.
