Solution
The three ways in which life of the nomads was affected by the disappearance of the pasture land are;
Due to the Forests Act, their grazing grounds shrank and their hardships increased to gather their daily utility products. In addition to this, their agricultural stock declined.
Implementation of Criminal Tribes Act restricted their movement and they were forced to follow permanent settlement that adversely affected their trades and crafts.
Due to Grazing taxes, they had to pay tax on every animal they grazed on the pastures and the revenue they had to pay increased out of their limits.
When the pasturelands disappeared and restrictions imposed on nomad’s movements, grazing lands came to be continuously used and the quality of pastures declined.
