Milk is a colloid which is considered as a heterogeneous mixture because a colloidal particle is very small, finely divided solid which do not dissolve in the solution and remain dispersed in a liquid for a long time due to its small size and electrical charge. These particles have negligible settling tendency because of their small mass which has a low gravitational force and is suspended due to surface tension force which is higher than earlier.
Hence, milk is also considered as a heterogeneous mixture.
