Mitochondria are found more in liver / muscle cell . Why ?

Mitochondria are required more in number in those regions where constant supply of energy is required. Muscle tissue require constant source of energy since muscle always tend to remain in state of contraction or relaxation. Similarly, in liver oxidation of fats takes place which require constant supply of energy. That's why mitochondria are found more in number in liver and muscles.
