most wool yielding animals live in cold areas and to protect from cold they have wool.But what about a camel it lives in a desert and why does it have wool?

As camel resides in deserts which are extreme hot in day and has low temperature in nights. So, camel has wool's on its body to prevent themselves from excessive heat emitted from sand of desert and the low temperature which prevails in night.
