Solution

Given that, Principal AmountP=Rs 50,000YearT=3 yearsExtra amount paid back to the bank, Simple InterestS=Rs 80,000-Rs 50,000=Rs 30,000We know that,S.I.=P×R×T10030,000=50,000×R×3100R=100×30,00050,000×3R=20%Thus,The amount which he pays back per year=20% of 50,000=20100×50,000=Rs 10,000Hence, he pays back to the bank Rs 10,000 per year.
