Some parasitic plants insectivorous plants uses both the mode of nutrition like Pitcher plant (Nepenthes) and Bladderwort (Utricularia). Some are parasitic and requires host for their early stage of growth and development, while some perform photosynthesis to supplement their nutritional requirements.
