Disease caused by bacteria : Tuberculosis:

a. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease, caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis .

b. Primarily affects respiratory system, but also can affect other organs.

c. Transmitted normally through exposure and inhalation of airborne droplets arising from infected patients.

d. Can be prevented by providing respiratory isolation of patient having disease as well as through vaccination with the BCG vaccine.

Disease Caused by Virus : AIDS

AIDS is caused by HIV virus (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). The method of transmission of AIDS from an infected person to a healthy person takes place by Physical contact, Blood transfusion, Use of infected syringes, needles or blades, from an infected mother to her foetus. The infection can be prevented by Avoiding unsafe sexual contact, Using sterilized or disposable syringes.
