There are various primary sources of water such as rivers , lakes, natural ponds, underground water, etc. The rivers have water in them collected from rain precipitation, the water that comes all through the way from melting glaciers on mountains, melting snow and ground water.
Secondary sources of water are those which are collected by us from natural sources in order to save the water . These include water stored in tanks, buckets, underground , used water, etc.
Points to be kept in mind while storing water in tanks:
Tanks that are used for storing water must be properly covered in oder to prevent contamination and breeding of mosquitoes.
Storage tanks should be chosen of appropriate material in order to save water for later use.
