Solution

Carbohydrate, ,protein and fats are the biological molecule, or macromolecule, consisting of carbon (C), hydrogen (H), and oxygen (O) atoms.

Carbohydrate function as long term food storage molecules, as protective membranes for organisms and cells, and as the main structural support for plants and constituents of many cells and their contents.

Proteins serve a number of significant functions in the cells. They have the role as biological catalysts enzymes. Proteins are important to a cell as structural components necessary for growth, repair and regeneration. Proteins also have significant role in the transport of respiratory gases, as antibodies in the defence mechanism, as biological buffers etc.

Function of fats is to provide energy. In plants they form the cell membrane.
