Magnalium is an alloy of Aluminium, consisting of about 2% (or sometimes higher) Magnesium and small amounts of Copper, Nickel and Tin. Due to its high strength (compared to Aluminium) and low density, it is used in manufacturing Aircraft and Automobile parts. The second use of this is in Pyrotechnics, as a metal fuel, to produce sparks. This is because the alloy is flammable, when powdered.
