Magnetic Force or Force of attraction is used in removing iron scrap from a heap of mixed scrap.If we hang a magnet over the heap of mixed metals,then iron will attract towards the magnet and will stick to the magnet.That is how we separate iron from mixed metal heap and magnetic force of attraction is responsible for it.
