Name the kinds of muscles found in your limbs and lungs. how do they differ from each other structurally and functionally?
The muscles found in the limbs are voluntary or skeletal muscles while those in the lungs are involuntary or smooth muscles.
Skeletal muscles are attached to the bones of the skeleton hence called so. They can be moved as per will. They contain cylindrical fibres. They are striated and made up of multinucleated cells.
Smooth muscles are involuntary, controlled by autonomic nervous system of the body. They are uninucleated and without striations.
