The shape of Ursa Major is like a ladle and it is also regarded as the Big Dipper. Ursa Major contains seven stars that are placed such that they form a dipper. Moreover, the stars in this constellation appear like the shape of a bear and therefore it is also known as the Big Bear. In India, Ursa Major is usually termed as the Saptarshi.

One of most popular constellation is the Orion. It is shaped in the form of a hunter. It consists of three starts in its middle that lead to a brighter star in the sky known as Sirius.
