On a sunny day bubbles of gas come out of water in a pond in which algae are growing. Why?

Bubbles come out of water because in ponds, at daytime algae use oxygen for photosynthesis and produce carbon dioxide. So, these bubbles are carbon dioxide. These gases comes out of water in form of bubbles.
