On shearing, sheep is bathed with a solution of potassium permagnate or an antiseptic. What may happen if this is not done?
After shearing, sheep is bathed with antiseptic/ potassium permangnate to remove any infectious agent if present on any wound on the skin of sheep. While shearing, if sheep gets cut or wound then different harmful microbes can enter into sheep's body. If it is not bathed with antiseptic, it can suffer from severe infections.
