Question

One way of converting Atmospheric nitrogen to nitrates and nitrites is by Lightning. During lightning becasue of high temperatures and pressure the atmospeheric nitrogen converts into oxides of nitrogen and mix with water to form nitric acid and fall down , which is also known as Acid Rain and the plants take up the nitrates. So ,Indirectly is Acid Rain good for plants ??

Your thinking on this aspect is right. That the nitrogen will be used by the plant, but to some extent, it has more of negative effects than the positive once. If the concentration levels of acid rain increases then it is fatal for the trees and forests because in an ecosystem it is not only forest exist. there are interactions between many abiotic and biotic factors.All these factors will get disturbed. If the soil turns acidic then the plants will not be able to grow.The animals die because of the acid rains.
