Binary fission and multiple fission are the asexual mode of reproduction in living organisms like bacteria. In case of the binary fission, a parent cell divides into two identical daughter cells while as in multiple fission a single parent cell divides repeatedly to form mare than two daughter cells. In biology, there are no fission other than binary and multiple fission involved in the reproduction of the organism. The other methods of asexual reproduction include fragmentation, budding etc.
