Solution

Root pressure is a type of osmotic pressure created by the cells of the roots as a result of which the cell sap rises upward through the stem. When the moisture level of soil is high water droplets from soil diffuses inside the root xylem. Due to accumulation of this water inside the root xylem root pressure is created that generates force to push water to the stem.
