Solution

A person feels sluggish when thyroid gland becomes under active because, the thyroid controls the process of metabolism. But when thyroid gland is under active it does not produce enough thyroid hormone to regulate metabolism. If we don’t have enough thyroid hormone, our body processes slow down. This means our body makes less energy and we feel sluggish.
