SA node AV node
The sinoatrial (SA) node is the impulse generating tissue words and is known as pacemaker. The AV node is a part of the electrical control system and is known as Natural pacesetter of heart
SA node is stimulated by the cardiac center of the medulla oblongata. AV node is stimulated by the cardiac impulses initiated by the SA node.
SA node is located in the right atrium, near the opening of superior vena cava. AV node is located between the atria and heart ventricles, near the opening of the coronary sinus.
