Let the score of the winning team is x and loosing team is y.

Given that winning team scored 22 more points than the losing team so

x = y +22..... (1)

also given that the total score of the losing team was a prime number between 40 and 45 so it can only be 41 or 43 because these are the two prime value lying between 40 and 45.

so y = 41 or 43

so x = 41+22 or 43 +22

= 63 or 65 (answer)
