The mine workers in India are undergoing miserable conditions.First of all, there is no safety of lives of the mine workers. They are working under dangerous conditions where the threat of collapse and extensive fire is always existent due to unscientific methods of mining. There is no proper welfare measures taken for the workers. Instead, the workers are cheated by not paying the full wages and are made to work for extended hours without extra remuneration.The workers are always exposed to hazards as there is lack of safety measures. The mine ventilation is very poor and the chances for escape during emergency is very keen which lead to loss of lives of the workers.
