Pressure is also force acting per unit area , then what is the difference between Pressure and Stress?

Pressure is the cause and stress is the effect. Pressure causes stress, therefore, stress is pressure (force across an area), but is usually calculated internal to an object. Pressure is the amount of weight or strain forced into matter, while stress is the result or ending effect of what matter looks like after it has been strained.
