Solution

The correct option is C 4 : 3 : 2 : 1
S's share=1/10
Existing partners' new share= 1/1 -1/10=9/10
Now, 9/10 is to be divided amongst existing partners in old ratio in following manner:
1.P= 4/9 of 9/10=36/90
2.Q= 3/9 of 9/10=27/90
3.R=2/9 of 9/10=18/90
4.S=1/10 which can be written as 9/90
Therefore, new ratio would be 36:27:18:9=4:3:2:1
