Q:How does anaerobic respiration differ in plants and animals?

1. The anaerobic respiration in plants is called fermentation, which form the ethanol as the final product. Anaerobic respiration in animals result in the formation of lactic acid.

2.In animals the anaerobic respiration take place in the muscle during the extensive exercise. In case of plants, it take place in the roots and in the seeds.

3.The fermentation is used for the production of the ethanol commercially. But, no commercial use of animal anaerobic respiration is present.
