The deficiency of vitamin D and low levels of calcium in the diet can lead to bone fractures. Vitamin D promotes absorption of calcium .He has to include foods that are rich in calcium such as dairy products, such as yogurt, cheese, milk, green leafy vegetables, Fish such as mackerel, salmon etc.
