raju has a certain number of marbles. rahul has two more than twice the number of marbles with raju. what is the total number of marbles they have together?
to form an algebraic expression?
Dear Student!
Here is the answer to your question.
Let the number of marbles with Raju be x
Given : The number of marbles with Rahul is two more then twice the number of marbles with Raju.
⇒ Number of marbles with Rahul = 2x + 2
∴ Total number of marbles = Number of marbles with Raju + Number of marbles with Rahul
= x + 2x + 2 = 3x + 2
Cheers!
