1 Eliminate production and release of known ozone depleting chemicals (such as CFCs and HCFCs) where remotely possible. Subsidize production of safer alternatives where possible.

2 Encourage growth of plants that produce oxygen, discourage deforestation

3 Minimize high altitude aircraft flights.

4 Stop pumping out the gases that are destroying the ozone.

5 By using energy efficient appliances while reducing the usage of gasoline.

5 Don't buy or use portable fire extinguishers that contain halons.
