Anemia is a disease that occurs when haemoglobin level goes down in the body. Haemoglobin is a pigment present in Red Blood Cells (RBCs) and they carry oxygen to the cells. The level of haemoglobin goes down when the count of RBCs become less in the blood.

For men – 14 gm/100ml

For woman – 12gm/100ml.
