Solution

Carbohydrates formed during photosynthesis , are transported out of leaf to non photosynthetic parts of plants like roots, stem tissues & other developing organs. This long distance transport of carbohydrates is carried out by the process of translocation. Therefore, translocation is essential in plants.

Sugars are synthesized in the leaves of plants.

Plant hormones unlike animal hormones are not secreted by any gland. However, each plant cell can produce hormones.
