The enzymes responsible for cellular respiration work properly at certain temperature range. When temperature rises too high or becomes too low the rate of respiration also gets affected. When temperature increases the rate of respiration becomes high and when it decreases the rate of respiration decreases. Temperature above 50 degree can denature the enzymes, so respiration stop beyond this temperature.
