Question

role of atmosphere in climate change

Open in App
Solution

Atmosphere plays a very important role in the climate change. Most of the heat energy coming from the sun is scattered and reflected back by the clouds and aerosols present in the atmosphere. If atmosphere is cloudy it will reflect more amount of heat that result in a cooler climate but if atmosphere is less cloudy than it allow more heat to pass and climate will de hot.

Due to green house effect many gases are present in the atmosphere that does not allow the heat of earth to go back to the sun due to which the climate is changing drastically.
