Bio fuels are an important alternative in reducing the consumption of petroleum. Bio fuels such as ethanol and biodiesel are very important as they are the only renewable resources that can come in place of liquid fuels used for transport. Also bio fuels can be used for generating electricity. Bio fuels will not hinder the economy of a nation when used as an alternative to petroleum as these are the leftovers of agricultural wastes or grasses and plants and non food part of the corn plants.
